Have you or someone you know been thinking of learning more about the Catholic Church? Maybe you’ve been baptized, but never completed your sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation). If you’re not Catholic and are married to a Catholic spouse, raising children Catholic, are you interested in knowing more to be able to share with them?

We are looking for you! Our Adult Inquiry team here at St. Malachy will begin a series of no pressure information sessions. Here’s an opportunity to begin to learn and have your questions answered. Our first session is on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Additional meeting dates are Monday, July 8th, 2013 & Monday, August 5, 2013.

So come join us for an hour and begin the journey into the beautiful faith that is Catholicism.

SummerFest 2013: Save the Date

We know that SummerFest will be filled with action. What kind of action? Wheels spinning, dealers dealing, baseball play- ers sliding, little ones riding, fryers frying (pierogis of course), so many things happening all at once. But it takes a cast of many. So for now save the date, watch for volunteer opportunities in the Staff, and get ready to star in the Best Summer Event. Where is this? That place that we shall not mention during the third week- end of August, that we all enjoy being at … if mentioned by name one must buy a round. An old Hawaiian proverb, More coming attractions, more stars (YOU), more than ever you can ever imag- ine. SummerFest 2013, Be there for the Grande Opening!

Our ROCK Spring Flower Sale continues today after all masses! Geranium pots in assorted colors in addition to assorted hanging baskets. We welcome back Diegel Greenhouse as we have received many positive comments from parishioners who have had extreme success with these plants!

Tickets still available for today’s concert! Don’t miss this incredible 60 voice all male chorus. This group of guys have won international accolades and please audiences wherever they go. Tickets are still available from the main office at $12. Get them early as tickets are $15 at the door. Come hear the Langsford Men’s Chorus sing everything from spirituals and barbershop to classical in the final concert of our 2012-2013 Concert Series!

Blood Drive This Friday

Our next blood drive is this Friday, May 10th from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Currier Center. If you are able to give blood, please consider donating to this worthy cause. The blood supply is extremely low at this time, especially type O. The Red Cross could use your support and participation in this drive. Please make an appointment to give blood on Friday, May 10th. Walkins welcome!
